Here, the weather department has also issued warnings of heavy to very heavy rainfall in many parts of the state. Especially Raigarh, Korba, Baloda Bazar. In Mahasamund and Janjgir-Champa one or two places may receive very heavy rains.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, there is an alert of extreme heavy rains at one of two places in Jashpur, Balrampur, Raigarh, Korba, Balodabazar, Mahasamund and Janjgir-Champa. Heavy rains may occur in Korea, Surajpur, Bilaspur, Mungeli, Raipur, Durg, Balod, Bemetra, Kabirdham, Rajnandgaon, Bastar and Gariaband. There is also the danger of lightning falling in some areas.
The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in several districts including Raipur , Raigarh, Janjgir, Kanker, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, Balod. Balrampur, Raigarh, and Bemetra have received heavy rains. Raigarh has received 567.1 mm rainfall so far. So there is 244.6 mm in Bemetra, 403.3 mm in Balrampur, 107 in Bilaspur, 229 in Dhamtari, 71.9 mm in Raipur.

Due to this, light to moderate rain or thunderstorms are likely to occur in most places in the state on Thursday. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places.
