Special article: Water augmentation for control of falling ground water level in the district

The villagers of this village are taking advantage of the Narva scheme in the dependent village Tibupali of Khokhepur, the village panchayat located at the end of Saraipali development block in Mahasamund district. In view of the need of the villagers to stop the water in the drain at Tibupali and the needs of the villagers, the work of drainage was started by the administration. At the same time, rain harvesting systems have been installed in government buildings. Where water enrichment has helped in securing rainwater inside the earth. Due to blocking of drains in the village, water has been provided to the villagers and water is also needed for the cattle. At the same time, the water level of village wells and hand pumps has also increased due to the water from the drainage.

This scheme, designed for the all-round development of the state under the leadership of the Chief Minister of the state, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, is now becoming a reality on the ground. Through Narva Vikas Yojna, rain water harvesting, storage, irrigation and providing employment to the rural people in the village Tibupali of the district are rapidly increasing the means of their livelihood. Under this scheme, in the year 2019, more and more water is being provided to farmers for maximum irrigation by constructing the canal and side canal structure in place. At the same time water conservation and promotion is taking place. Under this, farmers here are getting more benefits in farming. With the formation of the structure, other farmers like Chatram, Gopi, Nilambar, Sukhsagar, Guruvaru, Avon, Jaghuvan, Gelai, Dhaniram etc. got diagnosed with irrigation problem and this year more and more paddy was produced.
