Rewa Waterfall: Six youths drowned in UP to celebrate picnic, bodies of five found

Rewa, State Bureau. Six of the 13 youths from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh to have a picnic were drowned on Sunday in Kyoti waterfall located in Lalgaon Chowki area of ​​Garh police station in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. The bodies of five of them were removed on Monday. The search for one continues. 

13 youths came from Prayagraj in two groups

Rewa police received information about the drowning of two of the seven youths of one of the two groups on Sunday, while the two comrades returned to Prayagraj after the drowning of four youths of the other group and informed the family. On Monday, four other youths were also reported drowned when they reached Kyoti waterfall. After this, the police have extracted the bodies of five youths with the help of divers. Another youth is being searched.

The sinking of the waterfall has found the body of Rahul Gupta son Bhola Gupta resident Hanusa Colony, S. Kesharwani son Pawan Kesharwani, Prajwal son Mukesh Kesharwani, Akash son Kishore Keshwani, all three residents of Habuja colony Prayagraj and Abhishek (19) son Mahendra Singh resident Muktiganj Prayagraj. Golu Pasi’s son Pappu Pasi resident Sulemasarai Prayagraj is missing. Rewa Lalgaon outpost in-charge Balakesh Singh said that six youths belonging to two groups drowned in the waterfall. The bodies of five youths have been removed. The search for a young man is going on now.
