Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel encouraged members of Sikola and Kohka Gothan Committee

On the occasion of the payment of the third installment, the Chief Minister discussed with the members of the committee and the dung vendors through video conferencing

 Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Monday paid a third installment of Rs 6 crore 27 lakh to 76 thousand 803 dung vendors of the state under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana through video conferencing from his residence office. He said that the Godhan Nyaya Yojana is becoming very popular among the poor and cattlemen, everyone is benefiting from the scheme. 

    During this period, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel encouraged the gram panchayat Kohka of Tilda development block of Raipur district and the Gauthan committee members of village Sikola under Patan development block in Durg district through video conferencing. The members of Gothan told the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel that at present there are 43 registered cattlemen in the village, The cattle rearers have sold 209 quintals of cow dung and received an additional income of Rs. 4 lakh 18 thousand. Members also informed that they provide fodder and water for 80 cattle in Gowthan. He informed that Napier grass is being produced on about 4 acres through the committee. Apart from this, additional income is being earned by cultivation of greens and vegetables. Fish farming is also being done in Gothan. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel encouraged the members of the committee and the women of self-help groups to serve Gau Mata well and become more self-reliant. The members of the Sikola Gauthan Committee told the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel that the work of making vermi compost has started in his Gauthan. So far, additional income has been obtained by selling more than two thousand kilograms of compost manure. The Chief Minister also spoke to the Guthan Committee shepherd Budru Ram. They They told that they collect about 45 to 50 kg of cow dung daily. With this he is earning about a hundred rupees. Members informed that along with production of vegetable-vegetable on other lands around Gowthan, shed has also been prepared for poultry farming. Poultry farming will start soon. The Chief Minister said that the Godhan Nyaya Yojana launched for the promotion and protection of cow will be successful only through the hard work of your people. He said that work hard to earn extra income by working hard and also inspire other villagers to work in this direction. On this occasion, Agriculture Minister, Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Minister of Women and Child Development, Mrs. Anila Bhendia, Parliamentary Secretary, Mrs. Rashmi Ashish Singh, Chairman of State Women Commission, Mrs. Kiranmayi Naik, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Alok Shukla, Secretary Dr. M.
