    Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel expressed happiness over the trends received by the Chhattisgarh government regarding the admission of children in government English medium schools approved and operated in the district headquarters of the state, that foster approach has been started for admission in these schools. He said that in any case, the quality of education in government English medium schools should not be less than that of private English medium schools. This will be the criterion on its success. He said that in the initial phase, our intention was to start a government English Medium School in each district headquarters, Which later increased to 40. Due to the demand of parents and children and the enthusiasm of the local administration, this number has now increased to 51. The Chief Minister said that it is the intention of the government to start the Government English Medium School in all the block headquarters of the state from the upcoming education session. He instructed the Education Department officials to ensure the system of teaching and learning in 51 schools, as well as parallel planning for 146 English Medium Schools starting in the block headquarters from the next academic session. The Chief Minister said that special attention should be paid to the appointment and training of principals and teachers of English medium schools.
    At the beginning of the meeting, Principal Secretary of School Education Department, Dr. Alok Shukla gave detailed information regarding its detailed plan, deputation of principals and recruitment of teachers through the powerpoint presentation, including infrastructure development works in government English medium schools. He said that 51 government English medium schools have been approved in the state, out of which 10 are highest in Durg district, 4 in Balrampur district, 3-3 in Raipur, Korba and Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa, Bemetra, Korea, Gorela-Pendra- 2-2 schools have been sanctioned in Marwahi and Surguja and 1-1 in the remaining districts. He gave information about the arrangement of science subjects laboratory, library, music and art room, robotics lab, computer and language lab, sports ground and indoor games in these schools. He said that keeping in mind the available space in schools, To create better infrastructure for library and sports. He informed that the posting of Principal for English Medium Schools has been almost completed on deputation. Teachers are being recruited by school committees. He informed that qualified and experienced principals and teachers are being recruited for schools. The recruitment process will be completed by the end of October. It was informed in the meeting that 27 thousand 741 children have been admitted in government English medium schools and their online class has also started. Infrastructure work in English medium schools is being done at a cost of Rs 128 crore. He stated the need for Rs 81 crore for infrastructure development and requested the Chief Minister to make this amount available from the DMF item. At the meeting, children of all 51 English medium schools in the state had uniform dress, badges,
