Raipur: 20 lakh financial aid to disaster victims

The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management of the Government of Chhattisgarh grants financial assistance to the natural disaster victims in various districts through the District Collector. In five such cases, financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh has been approved in Bemetara district.

Under Revenue Book Circular 6-4, the death of Mr. Mukesh Gaikwad of village Kunwara of Tehsil Nawagarh and Mr. Tushar Sahu of village Bhopasra due to drowning in water, death of Chaitibai of village Nawagarh and Ambe Vishwakarma of village Jhal due to snake bite and kill of village. On the death of Thagia Bai due to burning in fire, financial assistance of Rs. Four lakh has been sanctioned to the families of the victims of the dead.
