Lockdown in Raipur: Lockdown will increase or market will be decided this afternoon

Raipur. Lockdown in Raipur: The expected impact of a one-week lockdown in Raipur is yet to come. The administration is contemplating to push the lockdown further, but the administration is under tremendous political and business pressure. The final decision will be taken at a meeting of Raipur minister in-charge of Raipur and district administration officers at 12 noon on Monday. If sources are to be believed, there has been a discussion meeting between the administration and the traders regarding the lockdown, in which the traders have demanded not to extend the lockdown further. The lockdown period is coming to an end from 12pm tonight.

Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Employees-Officers Federation has demanded an extension of the lockdown period due to the high incidence of corona infection in the state. A full lockdown has been announced by the administration from 9 pm to 28 September Raipur in the night. today is the last day. Right now we are able to get milk in the morning and evening only. All other shops have been completely closed.

Traders have demanded not to increase the lockdown

Chander Vidhani, president of Pandari Textile Market Association, said that the administration has demanded not to pursue the lockdown. It has been assured from the administration that the views of all will be considered. It is said that if the lockdown is extended, then this time there will not be complete strictness, people can be given exemption for essential things like ration, vegetables and fruits etc. till 10 in the morning.

Significantly, Raipur’s Minister-in-Charge and Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey had given a statement three days ago to increase the lockdown in the capital Raipur. He had said that he would take a decision on taking it forward only after reviewing the currently imposed seven-day lockdown.
