Gothan Day might be celebrated in Gauthans on the day of Govardhan Puja
1 min read After Diwali, ‘Gauthan Divas’ might be celebrated within the Gauthans on the day of Govardhan Puja. In this regard, all of the District Collectors and Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat have been directed.
According to the order issued by the Livestock Development Department of Chhattisgarh Government, the collectors have been requested to ask MPs, MLAs and public representatives in this system of Gauthan Diwas. On Gauthan Day, a morning procession must be taken out within the Gauthans. Gothans must be cleaned with Shram Daan. On the event of Gauthan Diwas, together with studying the message of the Chief Minister, Bhoomi-Poojan of newly permitted Gauthan and buildings constructed below numerous schemes in Gauthan also needs to be completed.
