Anti-hijab protest: Kids arrested from college, Iran information channel hacked, claims report

According to studies, safety forces arrested a number of college youngsters from college premises in Iran because the anti-hijab protest entered its fourth week.

By India Today Web Desk: As the anti-hijab protest in Iran entered its fourth week, safety forces of the nation arrested a number of college youngsters inside college premises, reported the Guardian. Also, the Iranian authorities closed all faculties and academic establishments on Sunday in Kurdistan.

It all began after the dying of a 22-year-old Iranian lady, Mahsa Amini, who was allegedly killed in detention by the morality police.

Amini was pronounced lifeless on September 16 after she was detained for allegedly breaching guidelines requiring girls to put on hijab headscarves and modest garments, sparking Iran’s largest wave of fashionable unrest in virtually three years.

Irans predominant information channel was allegedly hacked and hackers changed photos of Ali Khamenei with photos of protesters who’ve died, reported the Guardian.

Edalat-e Ali, a hacktivist group, claimed duty for the act. The photos of the protestors have been captioned as be part of us and stand up.

The protest in opposition to the regime was joined by tons of of high-school ladies and college college students. Protests broke out in western Iran at Aminis funeral. Women eliminated their hijab to protest in opposition to the dying of the younger lady in detention. As safety forces used tear gasoline to disperse protesters, the ladies chanted “death to the dictator!”
