Interference in one district and four Lok Sabha constituencies

Kanpur Dehat is a district and there are four assembly constituencies. But the four assembly constituencies are divided into four different Lok Sabha constituencies and that too belong to different districts. Because of this, no MP wants to take direct responsibility for the development of the district. Raniya and Jainpur Industrial Area in Kanpur Dehat is very big and there are many big industries here, yet development is not gaining momentum.

Focus was on increasing voting percentage

Special emphasis is being laid by the district administration on areas where voting was low in the last Lok Sabha elections. In the four assembly constituencies of the district, 21041 voters will exercise their franchise for the first time. This time 11717 men and 9321 women have been included in the voter list in the age group of 18 to 19 years. Three third genders have also been added to the voter list. Assistant District Election Officer Ajit Pandey said that this time 21041 young voters have been added to the list. To increase the voting percentage, an awareness program will be organized by the district administration.
