Odisha Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra breaks silence over Mamita Meher homicide case, refutes allegation of his involvement

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra has lastly damaged his silence over the much-hyped Mamita Meher homicide case and refuted all allegations.
In his response to the case, Dibya Shankar Mishra mentioned, “I am deeply shocked over the unfortunate death of Mamita Meher. I am in no way involved in the case. I attend the programs of the educational institutions as an MLA only.”
“Some media houses are purposefully showing wrong news against me only to defame me. This has badly affected me and my family,” he alleged.
He dared the people who find themselves alleging his involvement asking them to go to courtroom if they’ve proof of his involvement within the case. “Those who have evidence of my involvement in the case can give to the police or approach the court. I will not only resign from my post of ministry but also resign from politics. I request people not to indulge in fake propaganda for political motives,” the Minister mentioned.
“Stringent action should be taken against all the accused persons as per the law of the land,” he demanded.
Meanwhile, Mishra’s members of the family filed a defamation go well with in opposition to two regional TV channels and one internet portal claiming that the media homes are concerned in false propaganda with an goal to defame them.
