Bhopal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of Madhya Pradesh tomorrow on 11th February. Before this, PM Modi said that tomorrow is an important milestone in the development journey of Madhya Pradesh. There will be the privilege of inauguration and foundation stone laying of many development projects in Jhabua at around 12:40 pm. During this period, tribal women beneficiaries will also get the opportunity to distribute the monthly installment of food subsidy.

The vision of Antyodaya has been the guiding light for the initiatives taken by the Prime Minister. There is greater focus on ensuring that the benefits of development reach the tribal community, a majority of whom have been deprived of these benefits even after several decades of independence. In line with this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several initiatives which will benefit the tribal community of the region.

The Prime Minister will distribute the monthly installment of food subsidy under the Food Subsidy Scheme to about two lakh women beneficiaries. Under this scheme, women of various special backward tribes of Madhya Pradesh are provided Rs 1500 per month for nutritious food. The Prime Minister will distribute 1.75 lakh rights records to the beneficiaries of the Swamitva Yojana. With this, documentary evidence will be available to the people for their land rights.

Inauguration-laying of foundation stone of many development projects worth Rs 7300 crore

PM will release Rs 55.9 crore for 559 villages under ‘Pradhan Mantri Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana’. This amount will be used for various types of construction activities including Anganwadi buildings, ration shops, health centres, additional rooms in schools, internal roads. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of ‘CM Rise School’ in Jhabua. The school will integrate technology to provide modern facilities to the students like smart classes, e-library etc.

PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several projects, which will strengthen the water supply and drinking water system in Madhya Pradesh. The projects whose foundation stone will be laid include ‘Talwara Project’. This is a drinking water supply scheme for more than one thousand villages of Dhar and Ratlam. Apart from this, 14 urban water supply schemes under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0 are benefiting more than 50 thousand urban families in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. The Prime Minister will also dedicate to the nation the ‘Tap Water Scheme’ for 50 Gram Panchayats of Jhabua, through which tap water will be provided to about 11 thousand houses.

Will lay the foundation stone of railway projects

During this program, the Prime Minister will dedicate several railway projects to the nation and lay the foundation stone for them. These also include laying the foundation stone for redevelopment of Ratlam Railway Station and Meghnagar Railway Station. Redevelopment of these stations will be done under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The railway projects dedicated to the nation include the doubling of Indore-Dewas-Ujjain Sea Cabin Railway line. Apart from this, North-South grade separator along with Itarsi yard remodeling and the third line connecting Barkhera-Budni-Itarsi has also been included in it. These projects will help in strengthening rail infrastructure and reducing travel time for both passenger and freight trains.

The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation several road development projects worth more than Rs 3275 crore in Madhya Pradesh. This includes four-laning of Harda-Betul (Package-I) from Km 0.00 to Km 30.00 (Harda-Temgaon) of NH-47; Ujjain Dewas section of NH-752D; Four laning of Indore-Gujarat MP border section of NH-47 (16 km) and four laning of Chicholi-Betul (Package-III) Harda-Betul section of NH-47 and Ujjain Jhalawar section of NH-552G. These projects will improve road connectivity and also help in economic development in the region. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of other development initiatives like waste dumpsite remediation, electrical substation.
