An FIR has been lodged in the Saver assembly constituency of the district in the election road show organized by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Monday for alleged violation of the conditions of permission and guidelines to protect against Kovid-19.

A police official said that the case has been registered against a local BJP leader. On the application of which, the Chief Minister’s roadshow was allowed in Saver town. Santosh Kumar Dudhi, in-charge of Saver Police Station, said that the road show which was taken out on Monday evening was approved on these conditions. It will include only five vehicles and physical distance and other guidelines of rescue from Kovid-19 will be followed.

He quoted a letter sent to the police station from the office of the returning officer of Saver that 20 to 25 cars attended the Chief Minister’s road show in violation of the conditions of permission. This election event did not follow the law of physical distance and many people involved did not even wear masks to protect themselves from the epidemic.

The station in-charge said that a case was registered late Monday night under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code against local BJP leader Dinesh Bhavsar for alleged violation of the terms and conditions in the Chief Minister’s roadshow. The Chief Minister’s election roadshow was allowed only on the application of this leader.
