COVID-19: Andhra, Chhattisgarh borders sealed to examine trespassers

JEYPORE:   In a bid to limit cross-border motion of individuals through the two-week lockdown that began on Wednesday, the district administration has sealed borders linking neighbouring states of Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. 

Sources mentioned, a lot of folks from Koraput, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi who work in AP, Tamil Nadu and Telangana are prone to return to their native villages because of the lockdown.  Although administration has been monitoring the border posts for over 15 days now to examine trespassers, enforcement has been tightened to not permit additional surge in circumstances.

IICs, SDPOs and income officers have been requested to maintain a strict vigil on bordering factors akin to Chandili linking Chhattisgarh beneath Kotpad block, Chatua in Nandapur, Sunki beneath Pottangi and Bandhugam linking AP.
