Virtual marathon race in Kabirdham district, officers also run virtual race with youth

A virtual marathon was held on 13 December today to mark the completion of two years of the new government in Chhattisgarh. In Kabirdham district, 16 54 participants had registered online for this virtual marathon race for the first time in Chhattisgarh. The virtual marathon race saw huge enthusiasm from the youth to the officers. Collector Mr. Ramesh Kumar Sharma, Forest Officer, Mr. Dilraj Prabhakar, Deputy Collector Mr. Vipul Gupta, Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory Managing Director Mr. Bhupendra Thakur, District Sports Officer Mrs. Aarti Pandey, and hundreds of youths of the district engaged in the preparation of police and security forces. Joined the Virtual Marathon race. Collector Shri Sharma, in this virtual marathon organized by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department and Public Relations Department of the state government, appealed to the citizens to participate in the successful running of the virtual marathon following the rules of Kovid-19.
   The participants of the virtual marathon race did not gather anywhere as a group. The contestants raced at home, garden, ground, road or any other safe place following social distancing. All the participants have uploaded their videos or photos with the hashtag #runwithchhattisgarh on Facebook and Twitter.
