Uttar Bastar Kanker: Anemia freed due to Chief Minister’s Nutrition Campaign

Under the Chief Minister’s Nutrition Campaign, hemoglobin test of all women in the age group of 15 to 49 years was done in the month of September 2019, in which Mrs. Pramila Pati Baliram of village Chapeli had 5.5 grams of hemoglobin. Pramila was registered under the Chief Minister’s Nutrition Campaign and from the month of October 2019 she was fed pulses, rice, vegetables, hot food, eggs daily. From village panchayat, Pramila was benefited from hot food every day from October, November, December and January 2020 at Anganwadi Kendra Chapeli. From March 2020, dry rations such as pulses, rice, pickles, papad, badi and eggs were supplied to the house through Anganwadi. Anganwadi worker Pemin also advised them to eat munga bhaji every day due to having a munga tree in Pramila’s house during the Gharbhant, washing hands with soap before cooking to pay attention to hygiene, Dhan was informed with hand soap before and after defecation. He underwent a hemoglobin test in the month of August 2020, in which his hemoglobin has increased to 10 grams, thus making Pramila anemia free and very happy. Pramila has thanked the Chief Minister of the state, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, for running the Chief Minister’s nutrition campaign.
