TRIFED and District Administration signed MoU for financial improvement of forest produce collectors, native artisans

Mr. Praveer Krishna, Managing Director of TRIFED, Government of India, mentioned that Tribes India Market is being launched in Bastar area to advertise and make out there marketplace for artwork work merchandise made by tribals. Along with this, Trifood can be established in Semra for processing of forest produce like tamarind, mahua, tora and so on. in Bastar district. Which will profit increasingly more tribals. This initiative will empower the tribals financially.

MoU has been signed between TRIFED and District Administration in Bastar to speed up earnings technology and livelihood of tribal artisans, producers and MFP collectors. The MoU was signed by TRIFED Managing Director Mr. Praveer Krishna and Collector Mr. Rajat Bansal. Inclusion of extra product in MSP within the district by MOU, institution of meals processing plant in Semra, registration of artisans supplied by district administration, long run fund feasibility for Tribal Start Up Eco System, Bastar from Top Indian Art Institute It has been agreed in such topics as linking the humanities and crafts of the area, the Van Dhan Committee of Bastar area between the TRIFED venture of the TRIFED and the district administration.
