Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission “Bihaan” within the district, girls of ladies self-help teams are incomes quite a bit from the gathering and commerce of Sitaphal from the forests. On the initiative of Collector Ms. Richa Prakash Choudhary, below the management of Project Director District Panchayat (DRDA) Mr. RK Khunte, the ladies of the district are amassing Sitaphal from the jungles. After the gathering, the grading of the leaf fruit is being despatched to the native market and Bilaspur wholesale market and to Amarkantak and Anuppur districts of neighboring states.
District Mission Manager Mr. Soni informed that in line with the intention of the collector, to make the identification of the district within the manufacturing of Sitaphal.
