Smt. Bhendia performed land-raising and inauguration of 3.14 crore lining works to increase irrigation capacity in villages

Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia performed bhoomi pujan of Rs 3 crore 14 lakh 42 thousand in reservoirs for the development of irrigation capacity in several villages of Dondilohara block of Balod district on Monday. With this, farmers will get better irrigation facilities in the fields. He visited the villages and inaugurated the Bhoomi Pujan of development works and community building and congratulated the villagers.

     Smt. Bhendia performed Bhoomipujan of pucca lining work costing Rs. 93.20 lakh in the reservoir of village Bearkonha, Rs. 146.61 lakh in the reservoir of village Gurumi and Rs. 77.61 lakh in the reservoir of village Junnapani and additional community building in village Bhimatola and public community building Was released.
    Minister Smt. Bhendia gave detailed information about the minor forest produce and various welfare schemes being purchased by the government on support price and told them to take maximum benefit of the government’s schemes. He also heard the problems of the villagers and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned authorities. Zilla Panchayat member Smt Basanti Bala Bhendia, along with other public representatives, district level officers and distinguished citizens were present on the occasion.
