    This topic is quite appropriate in the context of Chhattisgarh, as most of the tourist places of Chhattisgarh are located in rural areas, along with various tourism development works are being carried out by the Tourism Department of Chhattisgarh government, besides rural tourism. Under which three eco-ethnic resorts have been recently launched by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. These resorts have been adapted to suit the rural environment, so that tourists can enjoy the high level of convenience as well as experience the lifestyle of the tribal community.
    In this period of global crisis of corona epidemic, not only India but the world economy has been adversely affected. Tourism has a special role in the economic development of any state and in the current era, the tourism industry has been the most affected financially. But despite all this, the Chhattisgarh government has not allowed the pace of development to be blocked. Every effort is being made to develop the tourism sector during the various stages of lockdown.
    Keeping these objectives in mind, the tourism policy of the state 2020 has been prepared. This tourism policy mainly involves tourism development in Chhattisgarh as well as providing employment to the local people, developing rural tourism, connecting the local people to the tourism industry under the guide training program to get meaningful results of tourism development. The plan of homestay for tourists is being worked out so that tourists can get an experience from the lifestyle, surroundings and local catering of rural area and tribal community.
    In the first phase of construction of Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit, the ambitious plan of the state government, after selecting 9 sites, a DPR of 4 sites has been prepared for development work and development work has been started in Lord Ram’s Nanihal Chandkuri. DPR is being prepared to develop Sirpur as Buddhist Circuit. 
    Preparations have been made to provide facilities to Parathas under the Home Stay and Tribal Tourist Circuit to promote rural culture, living, catering and tourism. To increase the source of income in the tourism sector and to provide employment opportunities to the local people, a guideline has been prepared for water tourism and adventure tourism, under which Murmusilli Dam Dhamtari, Hasdev Bango Dam Satarenga-Korba, Sanjay Gandhi reservoir Khutaghat Ratanpur, Looking at the substantial potential for development of water tourism in Gangrel Dhamtari, Sarodha Dam Kabirdham, Samodha Barrage Raipur, Kodar Dam Raipur, Malania Dam Gorella, Dudhawa Dam Kanker, a report has been presented. 
    Boats and cruise tenders have been taken to promote cruise tourism in the state. Under the development of Maa Bamleshwari Temple Dongargarh Prasad Yojana, in-principle approval has been received from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and its upcoming action is towards completion. On the lines of Sustainable Tourism and Responsible Tourism, a plan was prepared to increase tourism activities in Chhattisgarh, which will be implemented soon.
    The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology New Delhi has recently given recognition to Hotel Management Institute (IHM) Raipur, allowing them to start degree and three types of diploma courses, under which teaching starts from October 1 Alternative preparations have been completed.
    In this way, the tourism department of Chhattisgarh government is continuously trying to give impetus to tourism after the transition period of corona epidemic, which will have favorable results in the near future and the tourist destinations of the state will be recognized globally with complete amenities. .
