To showcase the tradition, tourism and great thing about Korea district, the two-day program of Jhumka Water Festival will likely be inaugurated by the district administration on January 17. The pageant will finish on January 18. People will pay attention to the achievements of the district by departmental exhibition with colourful displays within the pageant. The program will likely be inaugurated on January 17 by Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Minister of Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Planning, Economic Statistics and Culture, Government of Chhattisgarh. On January 18, Chhattisgarh Government Public Works, Home, Jail, Tourism Minister and Minister in-charge of the district Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu would be the chief visitor on the closing ceremony.
Preparations are being finalized quickly by the district administration. Under the steerage of Collector Shri Vinay Kumar Langeh, the complete workforce of the district administration is engaged in preparations for the profitable group of the programme. In this collection, Collector Mr. Langeh inspected the venue immediately and gave vital tips to all of the officers relating to the discharge of the duties assigned to them.
On the primary day of the two-day program, on the inauguration of the pageant on January 17, at 1:00 pm, the stalls arrange by varied departments will likely be noticed after welcoming and addressing the friends. After which the kite pageant and portray exhibition will likely be noticed by the friends at Jhumka Island. Presentation of melodious songs by Chhattisgarhi artist Sushri Aaru Sahu at 2:50 pm, cultural displays will likely be given by native artists at 3:40 pm. Presentations will likely be given by Chhattisgarhi artist Mr. Sunil Manikpuri at 5:00 pm and Odissi dancer Mrs. Purnashree Raut at 6:00 pm. There will likely be charming performances by Chhattisgarhi artist Mr. Anuj Sharma at 7:00 pm and Bollywood artist Mr. Vinod Rathore at 8:00 pm.
On the second day of Jhumka Jal Mahotsav, on January 18, at 1:00 pm, after welcoming and addressing the friends, presentation of native artists at 2:00 pm, presentation by Chhattisgarhi artist Mr. Sanjay Surila at 4:00 pm. Performances will likely be given by Sufi artist Mr. Nasir Ninder at 5:30 pm and by different artists at 6:45 pm. At 6:55 pm, the pageant will conclude with performances by Chhattisgarhi artist Mr. Sunil Soni and Bollywood artist Mr. Sukhbir Singh.
