Jashpur:Banyan tree resorted to rain, two brothers died due to lightning

Two brothers who were planting in the field died due to lightning. Due to sudden rain on Tuesday, the youth resorted to the banyan tree. Then the lightning struck the tree with a loud bang. Both young men came under its grip. He died on the spot. The incident is from village Dumariya of Farsabhar police station area. The names of the youths killed in the accident are Janak Sai (25) and Janaku Sai (19).

The accident happened when both were working in the field in the morning. After the accident, other people working in the surrounding fields rushed to both brothers, but both had died by then. The monsoon has also killed many people in the district. In the last 10 years, 229 people have died due to skyrocketing conditions. In the year 2020, so far 18 people have died due to lightning. Jashpur district is situated at an altitude of 2500 to 3500 meters above sea level. There is also a lot of lightning incidents due to the green forest and high magnetic stones here.
