In the occasion of Gangrel dam overflowing:: 14 gates had been opened as a result of 93 p.c waterlogging
1 min readDue to incessant rains within the state, 93 p.c water has been crammed within the Ravi Shankar Sagar reservoir, Gangrel dam. Executive Engineer, Water Resources Division Rudri Shri A.K. Paldia stated {that a} complete of 10 thousand cusecs of water is being launched by opening 14 gates of the dam at 3 pm at the moment. Out of this, 7800 cusec water is launched by way of radial gate and 2200 cusec water is launched to electrical board to generate 10 MW energy. He stated that 37 thousand cusecs of water is coming from the catchment space of Gangrel dam. Dhamtari district administration has warned about releasing water in 45 villages across the river.
