IAS award to 7 officers of Chhattisgarh State Service, 5 ladies amongst them, controversy will even go alongside

In Chhattisgarh, 7 officers of the State Service grew to become the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre at this time. It consists of 5 ladies. The Central Personnel and Training Department launched its notification on Thursday night. The promotion is topic to an ongoing attraction ruling within the Supreme Court.

The officers who’ve been made IAS by the Central Personnel and Training Department embody Jayashree Jain, Chandan Sanjay Tripathi, Priyanka Rishi Mahobia, Dr. Fariha Alam, Roktima Yadav, Deepak Kumar Aggarwal and Tulika Prajapati. The departmental committee met final month for this promotion.

The DOPT has clarified in its notification that this promotion might be topic to the choice of the continuing case within the Supreme Court. This attraction has been filed by Chandan Sanjay Tripathi and another officers towards Varsha Dongre in 2016 itself.

In the executive circles, the query is arising that how the officers whose appointment within the state service is disputed have been made IAS. Officials on the technical aspect say that 46 officers affected within the case had gone to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court stayed the High Court order. Because of this there isn’t a case of his disqualification. If the ultimate verdict of the Supreme Court comes towards them, then the matter might be totally different.
