Government of India approves 12 new varieties of various crops developed in Chhattisgarh

The Central Seed Subcommittee of the Government of India has notified 12 new varieties of various crops developed by Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh State for industrial cultivation and high quality seed manufacturing. Three rice, two of wheat, considered one of gram, considered one of soybean, three of safflower and two of linseed, developed by Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, within the assembly of Central Seed Subcommittee held beneath the chairmanship of Deputy Director General Crop Science of Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
