In relation to this route, Mr. Baghel has written to the Union Minister that assurances were given by you for permission of this route. This route connects the industrial city of Korba in Chhattisgarh and traffic density on this route is very high. Chief Minister has requested in the letter that soon an NHAI approval should be issued for this route.

Mr. Baghel has written in the letter that the construction work of National Highway No. 30 Raipur to Dhamtari Road is being done by NHAI.  The work has been started after almost 2 years of closure, but the progress of work is very slow.  He has urged to direct NHAI to increase the progress of work. Chief Minister has informed in the letter that the condition of National Highway No. 43 Pathalgaon to Kunkuri road is very bad. This work was started 4 years ago, but for more than 2 years this section of 25 km National Highway is in very poor and incomplete condition. Request was made in this regard in the month of October, but the progress of road construction is very slow since October and the work is almost closed from the month of March 2020. This route passes through the tribal dominated district Jashpur of Chhattisgarh and connects the state of Jharkhand. Mr. Baghel has requested to issue instructions to complete this work soon.

Chief Minister has written that National Highway No. 111 Bilaspur-Patrapali-Katghora Road is approved under N.H.D.P. Phase-4 scheme. Work between Bilaspur to Patrapali is in progress. But the condition of the route between Patrapali to Katghora is very bad and Mungadih bridge is under construction.  Construction of new bridge in place of damaged bridge on Mungadih Naala and maintenance work of Patrapali to Katghora road is very important before rainy season. Mr. Baghel has requested the Union Minister to issue instructions to the concerned for this.
Mr. Baghel has mentioned in the letter that the construction work of National Highway No. 216 Raigarh-Sarangarh-Saraipali road was started in March 2015. Work progress was slow from the beginning itself. This work is incomplete even after five years.Under this project, construction of 1.50 km long bridge on Mahanadi and 22 km concrete road is yet to be completed, but the work is almost closed from October 2019 and flaws in the earlier work are also being rectified. Chief Minister has requested to issue instructions to the concerned for expediting the above work.

In connection with the route up to Ambikapur-Wadrafnagar Uttar Pradesh border, the Chief Minister has written that the length of Ambikapur-Wadrafnagar road in the tribal majority district of Chhattisgarh state is 110 km. The route connecting Ambikapur in the state of Chhattisgarh to Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) is of inter-state importance. Ambikapur is located on National Highway No. 43 and Renukoot is on National Highway No. 39 and the traffic density on the proposed route is high. This interstate route is eligible to be declared a National Highway in terms of traffic. Hence, Ambikapur-Bhaisamuda-Wadrafnagar-Dhangaon-Bamhani-Renukoot (110 km in Chhattisgarh) should be declared as a National Highway. Similarly, demanding that Raigarh-Dharamjaigarh road be declared a National Highway, he has written in the letter that the length of Raigarh-Dharamjaigarh road is 72 kilometers. Raigarh is situated on National Highway No. 200 and is included on Bilaspur-Urga-Dharamjaigarh-Pathalgaon route included in Dharamjaigarh Bharatmala Yojana. The proposed route is an important link connecting the National Highway 200 and the Bilaspur-Urga-Pathalgaon route proposed in the Bharatmala Scheme. The traffic density on this route is very high and this route starts from Raigarh, the industrial city of Chhattisgarh. Therefore, the Raigarh-Dharamjaigarh road should be declared a National Highway.
