Chief Minister instructed for smooth supply of vegetables, fruits and essential commodities and strictly prohibit black marketing

Immediately after the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, the prices of all vegetables have been reduced by almost half. Yesterday, where the price of ladyfinger, bhata, cabbage and tomato was close to 40 rupees, today it has been reduced to half rupees 20 kg directly.
      Significantly, in his message to the public yesterday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has made adequate arrangements for the supply of essential commodities during the 21-day lock-down to prevent the spread of corona virus and its spread. Also, the collectors were instructed to strictly prohibit black marketing. Mr. Baghel instructed all the district administration to take necessary steps to ensure that there is no shortage of essential commodities during the lock-down.     The Chief Minister had also said that it has come to his attention that some traders have increased the prices of essential commodities and some people have been engaged in black marketing by taking advantage of the lock down crisis in some places. This is extremely objectionable. The merchant brothers are requested not to take undue advantage and to supply daily necessities to the people with service. We will not allow black marketing at any cost. He instructed all collectors to deal strictly with the black marketers and make arrangements to provide the goods to the general public at reasonable prices. Collectors were also instructed that there should be no obstruction in the transportation of essential commodities, vegetables, fruits etc. Those who are going through the work of vegetables, fruits etc. should not be stopped. Everyone is in need of vegetables and fruits. Its constant supply remains.
