Chhattisgarh Government’s Women’s Self Help Groups Innovative Initiative for Economic Empowerment and Economic Freedom

Chhattisgarh government is making efforts for the empowerment of women. In this series, the women self-help group of Kabirdham district has joined the state government’s Godhan Nyaya Yojana and is now preparing a new source of income by preparing statues of Lakshmi-Ganesh for decorative materials, items and worship for the house on Tihari season. . Statues of Lakshmi-Ganesh made of cow dung and decorative materials of the house are being liked very much on the market. A permanent market is being made available to women self-help groups engaged in this work in the district, From where common citizens can buy their favorite materials. Collector Shri Ramesh Kumar Sharma duly inaugurated the shop of women’s groups near Bhor Kalewa, which operates in the collector premises today. They also made them made of cow dung for the Deepavali festival and also bought other decorative materials. District Panchayat CEO Shri Vijay Dayaram K and Kawardha SDM Shri Vipul Gupta also purchased dibas made from cow dung.
