Central and state authorities will make joint efforts to save lots of the cultural heritage of the state

The Center and the State Government will work collectively to save lots of, protect and promote the cultural heritage and historic heritage of Chhattisgarh. For this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed right now between the Directorate of Archaeology, Archives and Museums, Raipur and the Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts, New Delhi within the presence of Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat.
In this settlement, the Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum on the rock artwork of Chhattisgarh together with the rock artwork of the world and India might be arrange individually in Raipur by the Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts to acquaint the native college students, vacationers, researchers and public with the actual elements of their historical tradition. The gallery might be arrange. Along with this, each the establishments might be useful in numerous educational programs-projects reminiscent of analysis coaching, compilation of digital assets, survey, archiving and conservation-preservation of state-protected rock shelters.
Expressing happiness over this settlement, Culture Minister Mr. Bhagat stated that “This MoU is essential within the route of conservation and promotion of Chhattisgarh’s heritage and tradition. The tradition division is dedicated to protect the cultural and archaeological significance of Chhattisgarh. During this, the central representatives had been welcomed by the Department of Culture with the state gamchha of Chhattisgarh.
