Ban on all main building works of Nava Raipur together with new Raj Bhavan, CM House, order issued

In view of the circumstances arising within the state because of Corona an infection, the Chhattisgarh authorities has determined to take much more stringent measures for austerity. In this regard, the measures being taken previously have been expanded. Now the development work of the brand new Raj Bhavan, Vidhan Sabha Bhawan, CM House, Ministers ‘and senior officers’ homes, building of the brand new Circuit House has been stopped with rapid impact in Nava Raipur. Bhoomi Pujan of those works was executed on 25 November 2019. On April 26, all of the departments have been instructed by the Government of Chhattisgarh to proceed to be economical within the monetary 12 months 2021-22, similar to the earlier 12 months. Now even additional, on the directions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the main building works in Nava Raipur have been banned with rapid impact. On behalf of the Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department, orders have been issued to the involved contractors to cease the development work of Raj Bhavan, Vidhan Sabha Bhawan, CM House, Ministers and Senior Officers, building of recent circuit home with rapid impact. Along with this, the beforehand issued tenders for the works of 245 crore 16 lakh and 118 crore for the development of recent meeting constructing in Sector-19 have been canceled with rapid impact.
