2 lakh 62 thousand 216 quintal seeds distributed to farmers for Kharif crops.
1 min readIn the present Kharif season, licensed seeds are being offered to the farmers of the state by cooperative societies, authorities farms and registered seed sellers. So far, 2 lakh 62 thousand 216 quintal seeds of assorted Kharif crops have been distributed to the farmers, which is 26 p.c of the seed distribution goal.
The goal is to distribute 10 lakh 4 thousand 950 quintal seeds within the present Kharif season within the state. 6 lakh 68 thousand 202 quintal seeds can be found within the state, in opposition to which up to now 5 lakh 68 thousand 549 quintal seeds have been saved, by which farmers have been given 5 lakh 58 thousand quintal paddy seed, 790 quintal maize, 2249 quintal tur, 2376 quintal soybean and 5089 quintal seeds of different Kharif crops are included. So far, 2 lakh 58 thousand 880 quintals of paddy, 107 quintals of maize, 447 quintals of Arhar, 1663 quintals of soybean and 1119 quintals of seeds of different Kharif crops have been distributed to the farmers.
