India Women cricketers fined for gradual over price in second T20I towards England

The Indian girls’s cricket crew was on Monday fined 20 per cent of its match charge for sustaining a gradual over-rate towards England within the second Twenty20 International, right here.
India levelled the sequence with a slender eight-run win.
According to an ICC launch, match referee Phil Whitticase imposed the sanction after Harmanpreet Kaur’s aspect was dominated to be one over wanting the goal after time allowances have been considered.
“In accordance with Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to minimum over-rate offences, players are fined 20 per cent of their match fees for every over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time,” the ICC launch mentioned.
Kaur pleaded responsible to the offence and accepted the proposed sanction, so there was no want for a proper listening to.
On-field umpires Ian Blackwell and Paul Baldwin, third umpire Sue Redfern and fourth umpire Tim Robinson levelled the cost.
