Earlier, Kumar had submitted a memorandum to Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor, Telangana, requesting her to advise the state authorities to take again the order. He added that if the federal government didn’t repeal the order, he would go on ‘Jagaran Deeksha’ or an in a single day protest in opposition to the state govt.
