Over 55% donations to regional political events from unknown sources: ADR report

22.98% of donations acquired from identified donors
The regional events acquired Rs 184.623 crore, which is 22.98 per cent of their whole earnings from ‘known’ donors (donors whose particulars can be found from the contribution report submitted to the Election Commission). 
While one other Rs 172.843 crore (21.52 per cent) was earned from different identified sources like membership charges, financial institution curiosity, sale of publications, get together levy and so on.
