Ashish Mishra cooperates with police, Congress media claims he fled to Nepal

On Saturday (October 9), accused Ashish Mishra appeared earlier than the UP Police Crime Branch over his alleged involvement within the violence that occurred at Lakhimpur Kheri on October 3. Ashish Mishra is the son of BJP chief and Minister of State (Home) Ajay Mishra Teni. He was summoned by the police in connection to the assault on BJP staff by the frenzied mob of farmer protestors.

In a coordinated trend, they cited unknown sources to say that Mishra had fled to the neighbouring nation of Nepal to evade investigation and arrest.

On October 3, a ‘farmer’ mob attacked a BJP convoy with stones and sticks. The windshield of one of many vehicles broke and the motive force seemingly misplaced management, thereby operating over the group. Two protestors are believed to have misplaced their lives.
