Welcome US president becoming a member of LeadIT local weather initiative: PMO

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Saturday welcomed the US’ determination to affix the Indian-Swedish local weather initiative, Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LeadIT), and mentioned it is going to assist meet the Paris Agreement objectives.

Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, on his official Twitter deal with, mentioned, “Welcome @POTUS joining the Leadership Group for Industry Transition, LeadIT!”
This Sweden-India local weather initiative takes the lead in heavy trade transition, he mentioned.
“It will help us meet Paris Agreement goals, strengthen competitiveness & create new sustainable jobs,” the Swedish prime minister mentioned.
Earlier this week, India and the United States additionally introduced a ‘US-India Climate and Clean Energy Agenda 2030 Partnership’ to create stronger bilateral cooperation on actions within the present decade to satisfy the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
