Former SAIL chairman V Krishnamurthy passes away at 97

NEW DELHI: V Krishnamurthy, a former chairman of metal PSU SAIL and Maruti Udyog Ltd (now Maruti Suzuki), handed away on Sunday on the age of 97 in Chennai.

Krishnamurthy handed away at his dwelling in Chennai, considered one of his former colleagues knowledgeable, based on a SAIL assertion.

His final rites will likely be carried out on Monday.

V Krishnamurthy was the chairman of SAIL from 1985 to 1990.
