The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has bought a 7,285 sq. ft land adjoining to the Ram Janmabhoomi premises right here, in accordance with its plan to increase the temple complicated space to 107 acres from the current 70 acres, an official of the belief stated on Thursday.

The belief that’s establishing a grand temple for Lord Ram on this holy city of Uttar Pradesh has paid Rs one crore for the 7,285 sq. ft land to its proprietor at a price of Rs 1,373 per sq. foot, the official stated.

Talking to PTI, trustee Anil Mishra stated, “We have purchased the land as we need more space for the Ram temple.”

The land bought by the belief is situated subsequent to the Asharfi Bhawan. Its proprietor Deep Narain signed a registry deed for the 7,285 sq. ft land in favour of Champat Rai, the secretary of the belief, on February 20 with Mishra and Apna Dal MLA Indra Pratap Tiwari as witnesses, S B Singh, the sub-registrar of Faizabad in whose workplace the deed was signed, stated.

“I was fortunate to be part of the first purchase deed of the Ram Mandir trust,” Tiwari stated.

According to sources, the belief plans to amass extra land and is in talks with the homeowners of temples, homes and open land adjoining to the Ram temple complicated.

The sources stated the belief desires to increase the challenge to 107 acres and it nonetheless has to amass 14,30,195 sq. ft of land to realize the goal. The primary temple will likely be constructed on 5 acres of land and the remaining land will likely be used to develop varied services, together with a museum and a library.
