Delhi court docket grants seven-day interim bail to Umar Khalid for sister’s marriage ceremony

NEW DELHI: A court docket right here on Monday granted one-week interim bail to former JNU pupil Umar Khalid, arrested in a case associated to the northeast Delhi riots, for attending his sister’s marriage ceremony.

Additional Sessions Judge Amitabh Rawat granted reduction to Khalid from December 23 to 30.

He has to give up on December 30 and no extension may be granted, a court docket supply instructed PTI.
