‘Greenland’ sequel in improvement; Gerard Buttler, Morena Baccarin to reprise roles

A sequel to 2020’s Greenland is reportedly already within the works, with leads Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin set to reprise their roles from the primary instalment. Director Ric Roman Waugh can also be reported to be returning as director for the second half, as is author Chris Sparling.

In the primary Greenland film, Butler and Baccarin star as structural engineer John Garrity and his spouse, Allison, whose household’s lives flip the wrong way up by the sudden redirecting of a harmful comet set to fall on Earth.

In the upcoming sequel, the Garrity household should depart their Greenland bunker behind and navigate throughout a frozen panorama to discover a new secure place.

Apart from the Greenland franchise, Gerard Butler was final seen in London Has Fallen in 2017. Morena Baccarin, then again, has movies like The Good House and Last Looks within the pipeline.
