Zilingo fired Indian-origin CEO Ankiti Bose over complaints of monetary irregularities, the corporate stated in a press release.

Singapore-based trend firm Zilingo on Friday, May 20, fired its Indian-origin co-founder & CEO Ankiti Bose following an investigation into complaints of monetary irregularities, it stated in an emailed assertion.

The findings of the audit haven’t been shared by the agency, neither did they elaborate on the allegations levelled at Bose.

Though in a press release to Bloomberg News, Bose stated her employment was terminated on grounds of “insubordination.”

Bose made harassment-related allegations after she was suspended in March. The firm in its statement said, “On April eleventh, after her suspension on March 31, Ankiti Bose delivered to the board’s consideration, for the primary time, sure harassment-related points pertaining to previous time durations… The investigation has concluded that the corporate took acceptable motion and adopted due course of to deal with these complaints that have been delivered to their discover…”

The startup provides expertise to attire retailers and factories and was created by Bose with Dhruv Kapoor in 2015. Singaporean state holding firm Temasek and Sequoia Capital are amongst its traders.

It is now the goal of an investigation into its monetary practices after auditors raised questions. Kroll Inc is main a probe into its funds.

Bose has disputed the claims of wrongdoing, Bloomberg News has reported. Bose was suspended from her duties on March 31.
