By India Today Web Desk: British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has backed considered one of his ministers, who has been accused of bullying his colleague, by way of textual content messages, stated cabinet workplace minister Oliver Dowden, saying the cellphone messages in query have been despatched “in the heat of the moment”.

The allegations, reported by the Sunday Times newspaper, have emerged days after criticism of Sunak for reappointing Suella Braverman as inside minister after she was fired by his predecessor, Liz Truss, for breaching e mail safety guidelines. The newspaper stated he was offended about not being invited to Queen Elizabeth’s funeral and that Morton had made an official criticism to the governing celebration.

“These were said in the heat of the moment, expressing frustration. It was a difficult time for the party. I think he now accepts that he shouldn’t have done it and he regrets doing so,” Dowden instructed Sky News.

“He shouldn’t have sent those messages … But of course the prime minister continues to have confidence in Gavin Williamson.”
