Two Pakistan ladies murdered after they did not take husbands to Spain

Two Pakistani-origin Spanish sisters have been murdered by their paternal uncle in Pakistan’s Punjab province for allegedly failing to take their husbands to Spain.

Arooj Abbas and Aneesa Abbas, had been allegedly tortured and shot lifeless in Nathia village of Gujrat district as a result of they did not get their respective husbands’ visas to settle with them in Spain.

Initial investigation advised that each the sisters, who’re Spanish nationals, had been married to their cousins in Pakistan greater than a 12 months in the past, and weren’t proud of their marriages, based on police.

The ladies’s mom, Azra Bibi, who was additionally current in the home on the time of the homicide, advised the police that her daughters on their return to Pakistan had refused to dwell with their husbands.
