Speaking on the incident, Chinese international ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian known as the incident “an isolated case”. “We have full confidence in the Pakistan side’s protection of Chinese citizens and property in Pakistan,” information company Reuters quoted him as saying.The incident comes two weeks after the IED assault on a bus carrying Chinese engineers to the Dasu dam web site in Upper Kohistan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 14. At least 13 folks, together with 9 Chinese nationals, have been killed within the incident.In April this 12 months, a bomb exploded at a high resort internet hosting the Chinese ambassador in Quetta in southwestern Pakistan, killing 4 folks.In 2019, gunmen stormed a luxurious resort overlooking a flagship CPEC venture — the deep-water seaport in Gwadar that provides China strategic entry to the Arabian Sea — killing a minimum of eight folks.China is a detailed ally and main investor in Pakistan.
