Former House Speaker Paul Ryan mentioned former US President Donald Trump is a confirmed loser. Ryan’s assertion was in reference to Trump’s losses within the Republican elections through the previous years.

By India Today Web Desk: Former US President Donald Trump is a ‘confirmed loser’, former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) mentioned on Thursday. Ryan’s assertion was in reference to Trump’s losses within the Republican elections through the previous years.

“He is a proven loser. He cost us the House in ’18, he cost us the White House in ’20, he cost us the Senate again and again,” Ryan advised CNN in an interview on Thursday.

“Trump is fading fast,” Paul Ryan added.

Further, the previous House Speaker mentioned he doesn’t consider Trump will get the social gathering nomination as Republicans start to focus extra on points like fiscal accountability and fewer on personalities.

“I think we are moving past Trump,” he added.

“I really think that’s the case. I can’t imagine him getting the nomination, frankly.”

In an analogous remark, Ryan, in November 2022, mentioned the ‘Trump issue’ was accountable for the GOP’s disappointing 2022 midterm outcomes and predicted that Trump wouldn’t win in 2024.

“He can get his people through the primaries, but he can’t win general elections,” Paul Ryan had mentioned.

“We get past Trump… we start winning elections. We stick with Trump, we keep losing elections. That’s how I see it… It’s really clear, I think the Republican voter is going to move on.”

“I don’t talk to him, so I don’t know what’s going on in his mind,” Ryan added.

Trump is the one outstanding Republican to formally launch a 2024 presidential marketing campaign; nonetheless, quite a few outstanding GOP figures are contemplating White House runs.

WHO IS PAUL RYAN

An American former politician, Paul Davis Ryan, served because the 54th speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019.
