They appeared nervous: Indian-origin taxi driver on driving Prince Harry and Meghan amid ‘automotive chase’

By India Today World Desk: Prince Harry and his partner Meghan expert a “near catastrophic car chase” on Tuesday, talked about their spokesperson. The couple’s spokesperson talked about that Harry and Megan have been being chased by paparazzi for two hours after they left the event.

However, an Indian-American cab driver, who drove the duo for 10 minutes, talked about that such a declare may be “exaggerated”, in line with a Washington Post report.

Sukhcharn Singh, an Indian-American cab driver, talked about that on Tuesday night, whereas he was on 67th Street, a security guard hailed him after which Prince Harry and his partner hopped into his taxi.

“We got blocked by a garbage truck, and all of a sudden paparazzi came and started taking pictures,” he talked about.

‘THEY LOOKED NERVOUS’

“They were nice people, they looked nervous. I think they were being chased the whole day or something. They were pretty nervous,” Singh knowledgeable Sky News.

According to a report in The Washington Post, Singh picked up Harry, Meghan, her mother and a security guard spherical 11 pm on Tuesday outside the New York City Police Department’s nineteenth precinct.

“Singh estimated that the entire journey lasted 10 minutes, and said he got the impression from the group that they had already been pursued by paparazzi before entering his car,” stated the report.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) later said they assisted the private security team protecting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. “There have been fairly a number of photographers that made their transport troublesome,” it talked about.

The police, nonetheless, talked about the couple “arrived at their destination and there were no reported collisions, summonses, injuries, or arrests.”
