Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan assaults military posts killing 6 Pakistani troopers

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Wednesday (6 September) launched a “large-scale” army offensive towards the Pakistani military within the Chitral district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The main assault on the Pakistani military, which TTP has reportedly named ‘Operation Malakand’, has attacked a number of military posts during which a number of Pakistani troopers have been killed or injured. Additionally, the TTP terrorists have additionally claimed that they’ve captured a number of villages within the space.

The assault started within the early hours of the day, a TTP commander informed The Khorasan Diary over the phone. He mentioned, “An operation in the Chitral district has been launched by the TTP and various villages have been captured. It started at 4 AM (Pakistan time) this morning. We will share pictures. Currently, we are having poor internet issues.” 

Speaking with The Khorasan Dairy a senior Pakistani safety official rejected the claims made by the TTP and mentioned that no areas have been captured by the fear outfit.

Notably, the Khorasan Diary claims to be a non-partisan platform, one that gives real-time data and evaluation. 

In an announcement to native media, TTP spokesman Muhammad Khurasani requested the native residents to stay calm as their “war” was towards the Pakistani military which he known as “usurping” and “oppressive” safety companies. It is value noting that at this time Pakistan is marking its Defence Day. 

Khurasani mentioned, “We want to say to the people of Chitral that you should remain calm. No harm will come to you. Our war is against usurping and oppressive security agencies.” 

Meanwhile, varied unconfirmed movies have surfaced on-line on X (previously Twitter) during which it’s being claimed that the Pakistani SSG instructions have been known as within the Chitral space to battle 500 TTP terrorists who’ve captured just a few villages.

Several social media handles together with outstanding journalists having experience in Pakistani affairs have claimed that clashes occurred between Pakistani forces and TTP alongside the Durand Line. This resulted within the closure of the Torkham border crossing.

While the Pakistani military has denied that it has sustained any casualty, TTP terrorists have claimed that they’ve killed 6 Pakistani troopers.

Interestingly, the Pakistani media has maintained a strategic silence and for apparent causes, it has not lined TTP’s main offensive towards the Pakistani military.  

It is essential to notice that the TTP which is often known as Pakistan Taliban had declared an all-out warfare towards the Pakistani army in November 2022. It vowed to defeat the Pakistani military and set up Sharia legal guidelines in Pakistan, identical to the Afghan Taliban did in Kabul. 

In the latest previous, the Pakistani military and establishment-sponsored terror business have come again to hang-out it. It has been hit by a wave of terrorist actions carried out by the fear outfits that they’ve been nurturing for many years.
