Suspected Russian spy whale ‘Hvaldimir’ reappears off Sweden’s coast after 4 years

By India Today World Desk: A beluga whale that turned up in Norway in 2019, prompting speculation it was a spy educated by the Russian navy, has reappeared off Sweden’s coast. It sparked speculations that the whale had been educated by the Russian navy as a consequence of a man-made harness it was sporting.

When the whale first appeared inside the Norwegian Arctic, marine biologists from the Norwegian Directorate of fisheries eradicated a human-made harness from him.
