Situation removed from regular at Kabul airport as evacuation deadline nears, reveals satellite tv for pc imagery

Amid the continued evacuations towards a deadline set by the Taliban, 1000’s of Afghans have been tenting exterior Kabul airport within the hope of getting an opportunity to go away Afghanistan. Satellite photos offered by house agency Planet Labs present that autos and crowds proceed to throng all doable entrances of the Hamid Karzai International Airport.

On Tuesday, the Taliban stated they won’t enable Afghan nationals to go away the nation. “We will not be extending the August 31 deadline. They can take all the people who belong to them. We are not going to let Afghans leave,” said Taliban spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid. This new diktat issued by the Taliban puts a big question mark on the fate of those still camping outside the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. The Taliban have reportedly put several roadblocks on the route leading to the airport. The main entrance of the airport has been barricaded, leading to a visible traffic blockade. He has requested the international community to donate 200 million dollars in food aid to the war-torn country.Taliban spokespersons in Doha and Afghanistan have been sending out contradictory messages on the fate of Afghan citizens who may want to travel outside the country after the August 31 deadline.
