By Reuters: Several individuals have died in a mass capturing at a Chinese New Year occasion in Monterey Park, California, a report stated.

Police had been attending a capturing in Monterey Park with a number of casualities, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing a legislation enforcement supply.

The capturing befell across the location of a Chinese Lunar New Year celebration held in Monterey Park, the newspaper stated. Tens of hundreds of individuals had attended the competition earlier within the day.

Monterey Park is a metropolis in Los Angeles county, round 7 miles (11 km) from downtown Los Angeles.
